刘小枫，中国人民大学文学院教授、博士生导师、古典文明研究中心主任。早年以《诗化哲学》（1986）《拯救与逍遥》（1988）蜚声学坛，迄今出版以《设计共和》《共和与经纶》《施特劳斯的路标》《海德格尔与中国》《以美为鉴》《巫阳招魂》《拥彗先驱》等为核心的学术专著（文集）30余种；编修教材《凯若斯：古希腊语文读本》《雅努斯：古典拉丁语文读本》等，选编并组译译文集近百种；创设并主持大型古典学术译丛“经典与解释”、CSSCI中文来源辑刊《经典与解释》和学刊《古典学研究》等，至今合计出品六百余种，影响被及文学、哲学、法学、史学等多个领域。
作者简介
柏拉图（Plato，约公元前427—前347年），生于希腊雅典，双亲皆来自重要的贵族家族。他自幼受到良好的教育，后受教于苏格拉底。他曾游学外地，约公元前387年回到雅典创办学园，亚里士多德亦曾就学于此。柏拉图的学说对于欧洲的哲学与整个文化发展，影响深远。据亚历山大时期的忒拉绪洛斯，其作品有35部对话及书简，其中较为知名的有《理想国》《苏格拉底的申辩》《斐多》《法义》等。
