9月間時報出版了吉本芭娜娜的新作《無情／厄運》，封面是一個頭大大、色調柔和的小女孩；書內並夾著幾幅同樣風格的畫作，讓一般讀者印象深刻。這些畫皆出自日本近年新竄起的當紅畫家奈良美智之手，雖說此書是本地第一個有關奈良美智的出版品，但其實他筆下已累積了數本的畫冊、繪本、與相關雜誌，最新作品是用日、英、德三國語文同時介紹的精裝畫冊《Lullaby Supermarket》。
