苏联的最后几年时间,社会全面崩溃消解。历史真相的揭露让人们从恐惧中解脱,而一旦恐惧的压力消失,一切罪恶和荒谬暴露在阳光之下,看似无比强大的统治机器好像一下子被人拔掉了插头。保守派的腔调在今天中国人看来尽然是如此熟悉,让人不寒而栗。苏联消亡的历史中,各色人物你来我往,再细看,其中大多数居然能在今日中国找到对应。不知道我们这里的终局会是如何到来,毕竟经济基础差异太大,然而Com体制的内在缺陷和矛盾,是无论如何技术修补都无法克服的,这可以说是历史的必然。有生之年,必能见到。

总感觉这不是一组客观的报道,而是有了主题和立意,再去做的采访,所以到最后也不是那么喜欢。偶有振聋发聩之句,例如“一个政权倘若承认过去的错误,就等于自取灭亡”

看了3/4,实在是没有很喜欢他的写作风格。另外一个视角了解帝国的崩溃吧。
这本书充分体现了什么叫做英语世界的无知愚昧与偏见。
