台湾师范大学英语系毕业。著有《现代诗启示录》，与陈黎合译有《万物静默如谜》《二十首情诗和一首绝望的歌》《野兽派太太》《白石上的黑石》等三十余种。曾获林荣三文学奖散文奖、小品文奖，并多次获梁实秋文学奖诗翻译奖。
