作者简介
James L. Adams is professor emeritus at Stanford University, where he has held a variety of administrative posts, taught courses on design and creativity, and won many teaching awards. Trained as an engineer and artist, he has been employed as a design engineer by several companies, as well as consulting for and coaching groups in the private and public sector around the world. He lives on the Stanford campus.

这是一本很简短的书，跟编程应该没什么直接关系，主要说的是思维思考的过程，和局限性，和怎样打破这些局限性。
读的中文版。精神上放松自己，促成酝酿过程，学会等待时机。
值得一读
17年在冰岛南角的airbnb巧取此册1976版本，大纲清晰、图文并茂，最重要是Jim工科/设计出身，文字输出以列表和模块为主，没啥废话。
