Pier Vittorio Aureli
Pier Vittorio Aureli is an architect and educator. He graduated at the Universita IUAV di Venezia and earned his PhD at TU/Delft-Berlage Institute. His work focuses on the relationship between architectural form, political theory and urban history. He is the author of 'The Possibility of an Absolute Architecture' (The MIT Press, 2011), and 'The Project of Autonomy: Politics and Architecture Within and Against Architecture' (Princeton Architectural Press) and other books and writings. Currently he is Diploma Unit Master at the Architectural Association in London where he also teaches courses within the History and Theory Program. He directs the PhD program 'The City as Project' at the Berlage Institute in Rotterdam.
