曼海姆Karl Mannheim

曼海姆(Karl Mannheim 1893?1947)知識社會學大師，曾在海德堡與法蘭克福大學(the Universities of Heidelburg and Frankfurt)講授「社會學」，直至1933年納粹掌權。此後，他前往「倫敦政經學院」(the London School of Economics and Political Science)，擔任社會學講座(Professorial Lecturer in Sociology)，直至1947年過世。除《意識型態與烏托邦》(Ideology und Utopia)一書外，曼海姆的重要論著尚包括：《當代社會理智與非理智成份》(Rational and Irrational Elements in Contemporary Society, 1934)，《變革時代的人與社會》(Man and Society in an Age of Reconstruction, 1940)，《自由、權力與民主計劃》(Freedom, Power and Democratic Planning, 1950)，以及《社會學與社會心理學論文集》(Essays on Sociology and Social Psychology, 1953)等書。
