ELcroquis建筑素描：大卫·奇普菲尔德

EL Croquis《建筑素描》2014年的年底合刊选择了英国建筑师大卫·奇普菲尔德。这已经是继1997、2004、2010年后，EL编辑部为大卫打造的第四期专辑。本期杂志将目光聚集到大卫事务所2010到2014年间的28件作品，内容之丰富详实值得期待。 开篇访谈《理解文脉的另一种方式》延续了《建筑素描》与大卫始于1997年的对话，探讨了大卫于其建筑中体现的在二元对立的摇摆中找寻永恒的平衡。大卫·奇普菲尔德是一位重视交流的建筑师，他对与世隔绝、自我陶醉的高谈阔论不感兴趣；相反，他更愿意将建筑看作诗与周遭世界，与社会、场所、文脉、记忆和人群的一次滔滔不绝的对话。 由拉斐尔·莫尼奥撰写的评论文章《今日建筑师：全球化时代的另一种选择》对大卫·奇普菲尔德建筑思想的理性标准进行了溯源，从“现代性”的视角审视大卫的作品，并把其中一大部分理解为对“现代主义建筑”原则的自然进化。而鉴于大卫作品的丰富性，又并不局限于现代主义的框架——他对于设计的独特性与因地制宜的关注决定了他的作品不依赖于任何固化风格。文章关注了大卫的材料选择、建造过程、建筑理念及组织策略。 本专辑收录了四年来大卫·奇普菲尔德事务所的28个作品，其中17件已建成，其余均在建设中。

David Chipperfield Architects was founded in London by David Chipperfield in 1985. The practice has since won numerous international competitions and built over 100 projects.
