Impro for Storytellers is the follow-up to Keith Johnstone's classic Impro, one of the best-selling books ever published on improvisation. Impro for Storytellers aims to take jealous and self-obsessed beginners and teach them to play games with good nature and to fail gracefully.

著者

基思·约翰斯通（Keith Johnstone），英国戏剧教育家、编剧、演员和导演，即兴戏剧先驱，以发明现代即兴体系而闻名。早期在英国皇家宫廷剧院负责编剧与导演的指导工作，并组织了当时唯一一个纯即兴剧团“戏剧机器”在欧洲巡演。1970年，基思到加拿大卡尔加里大学任教，并在那里成立了日后闻名于即兴界的“松驼鹿剧团”。

基思将《道德经》中的“无为”等思想运用到表演中，极大地激发了演员的自发性和创造力，英国皇家戏剧学院更是将他发明的练习（尤其是“姿态”部分）作为教学体系中重要的组成部分。另著有《即兴》（Impro: Improvisation and the Theatre）一书。

译者

饶昊鹏，艺名“舟柏”，创作过《即兴争霸赛》《假期综合症》等即兴作品。曾跟随即兴大师基思·约翰斯通学习。现就读于上海戏剧学院。译著有《即兴》。
