总体来说是对莫里森小说《beloved（宠儿）》的历史性解读，比较偏向外部解读，不熟悉美国历史以及历史概念在英文里的对应专有名词就会难读懂……
蛮喜欢Emancipation is enslavement这一句，以及里面提到的黑人奴隶叙述（黑奴志）在一个法令禁止奴隶接受教育的时代，以偷窃的方式窃取证据来指控系统之罪，以犯罪的方式质疑犯罪的系统的吊诡之处，证明与展示自己的不可能，真实性被信任的不可能，对我来说，被迫证明可信亦始终将是一个创伤记忆
选读。文笔很好。“世俗的启迪是一种遭遇鬼魂般的在场、徘徊着的过去、看似不可见者那幽明的在场的方式。……你已然以这样或那样的方式被卷入、被牵连其中，这就是为什么，如果你不驱逐或杀死鬼魂，或将它缩减为你已有能力管辖的东西，当它出现在你面前时，它将令你有必要对它采取行动。……鬼魂会登记，会煽动，这就是为什么我们必须与之亲切交谈，学习它如何说话，掌握其生命世界的全部，它的欲望和立场。……它那一切强力的、令人费解的陈述，都是为你而准备的。我们必须给它一个好客的接待，但胜利地清算鬼魂总是需要偏袒生者。因为归根结底，闹鬼关乎如何将一个生命的影子转化为一个未经弱化的生命，其影子在一种和平和解的精神中轻柔地触摸着。在这个必然是集体的事业中，终点（而根本不是结局）属于每个人。”
