老板说和我的论文非常贴切，确实如此。全书写得相当精彩，认识深刻，对于理解美国社会以及美国的犯罪现象非常有帮助，对于理解现在中国越来越高的犯罪率，也是很有启发。但是，一如其他宏观的研究，缺少细小的证明和资料，是这本书的弱点，许多细小而深刻的问题，在书中没有解决。比如到底culture and structure是通过怎样的mechanism影响美国社会的。但是，不论如何，是本值得一读的好书
