4/5 Albeit densely written, AC bears witness to one of the darkest histories during WWII that very few people know existed. Sheffer's highly objective account reminds us of how far child education/psychiatry has evolved since 'the Dark Age', and examines the concept of complicity in a socio-political context that's both fascinating and poignant.
