系列的第一部曲，鉴于这是第二部一上来就把我非常感兴趣角色写没了的系列（上一部是《银河英雄传说》），让我夹带私货的重写一笔：还我James Dillon！！！
真心推荐！电影《怒海争锋》原著，是一个系列，融会贯通航海、地理、生物、历史、政治、音乐、人性等各种领域。CP超有爱绝对是真爱。
4.5 地中海，帆船，棕榈树的海港，海战，神奇生物...夏日的感觉，生活向的剧情，和老派文笔的读起来真的太舒服了；船长Jack和爱收集新奇生物的医生Stephen持续一生的友谊的开端，真的太可爱了，一起谈论音乐，在船长舱里聊航海聊人生聊identity，Stephen学航海知识，最喜欢Jack抓到神奇鱼赶紧献给stephen，还有stephen说信不信我让我的蛇咬你那里 🤣，还有Stephen帮忙怼因为Jack爱钱而瞧不起Jack的Dillon；学到了很多那个年代的航海知识，比如如果有船有瘟疫，有人靠近了就要被隔离40天 （Stephen本来想去有疫情的船帮人，但被Jack拖回来因为Jack不想被隔离真的笑死）；舒服有情怀有历史的厚重感又有趣的一本
这本书我断断续续看了两年多，在各种船只、名字乱安的船只、船只术语、典故、文盲用错的典故、海盲的向导中稀里糊涂的看完了
