算是新历史主义视角下的研究？贯穿全书的一大论点：作者写作与社会、历史相互影响。
看的第一部文学史类书籍。似乎在作者的眼里每一位文人、每一部作品都是时代潮流的造就及反映，然后用即成的一套相同体系去分析每一位各不相同的作家，角度实在有些呆板。但这样短小的篇幅和舒服的文字还是让我这样的伪文学粉看得很爽的。
