城市的本质是经济agglomeration，生产surplus通过的decentralized的网络distribute。因此研究城市核心是研究spatial interaction，在将其与其实现的基础－网络相结合。flow，spatial interaction+network得到Urban scaling。跟bettencourt的urban scaling理论相似。全书框架有，内容还是不够明晰，说明complexity的研究现状和前景|||
为城市间field/flow/network的关系建立了一套框架，如果我还想做social ecological system，或者会参考其中一些model（但问题在于这本着重关注城市“形态”…且参数统计问题鲜少涉及
