笑翻。太好玩了哈哈哈哈哈！
via singsingsong 在British museum里第一次看这本书，没想到这么好玩，sly and slay!
If “British humour” is this stale kind of shit...😅 第一次去英國的時候各大gift shop都把這本擺在很顯眼的位置於是買了，之前翻過一點覺得還算有意思，這幾天撿起來重看只覺得老套又尷尬。作者是匈牙利人，才到英國的時候吐槽英國社會各方面還算有趣；後面越來越以資深英國移民自居，字裡行間凸顯出對移民湧來、”no more old glorious Britainia”和社會越來越「政治正確」的扼腕。簡單來說，我討厭嘲笑一切的白人男，比如Bo Burnham和本書作者。你可以說這它畢竟是上世紀40-70年代寫的嘛，確實，那我覺得現在就更沒有讀它的必要了，很浪費時間只能說。

Alien相当有意思，不愧是成名作。之后的Inimitable和Decadent就相较之下少了分犀利吐槽，多了分语重心长事故沧桑，没那么好玩了。
“How to be an Alien” 这个部分写得最妙趣横生，嘴角向上拉不下来。
在 National Gallery 随手拿的，没想到贡献了一周的笑话。对于我一个彻头彻尾的alien来说，how to be an alien 真的让太好笑太有共鸣了， 只能说是大英帝国旅行必备良药
