整体结构安排恰当，没有纠结于词语使用等细枝末节，而选择从一篇文章的微观结构（段落）开始，过渡到全文的布局。重视阐释搭建不同观点间的“关系”，由点连线，由线及面，coherence是学术写作的灵魂。
市面上写作教材像这样毫无废话而且作者ego为零的还真不是太多
正八经的英文写作看这本，不需要看那种教你写留言条的。无良猜测一下：第三章事实vs观点这部分对于大部分中国学生来说可能比较culture shock。。。

非常实用 值得多次学习
感觉真是豁然开朗，神清气爽啊！
为了备考雅思写作读的这本书，一开始读得很慢，但是真的很有意思，浅显易懂，逻辑清楚，不知不觉就看完了。
读完之后，英文写作的框架就在脑海中搭建起来了，你能够明白一篇文章的逻辑和本质是什么，怎样去展开，同时注重your own idea,因此，随便一个话题，都能够顺利去写。
有一部分讲标点符号的，关于逗号，分号的用法，这一步分很有用，之前从来没有注意过，原来还有这么多讲究。
另外有一些概念，coordinator,subordinator,conjunctive adverb,其含义，用法，注意点，归纳得明明白白，读来感觉很新奇。
总之，这本书让我受益匪浅，非常值得一读，并且值得时常翻阅。
