弃读了，不算是写的不好，对于一本英文书，如果没有一些有趣故事在其中穿插着，作为日常消遣读物我很难读下去，看了将近30%放弃了。主要讲的作者以美国媳妇的身份，在美国体会到、在结婚、生育、教育等方面，美国与芬兰等北欧国家在政策以及社会理念上的不同，而背后的原因在于价值观的不同了。

Great book to understand why nordics are living their lives at the fullest, their government educates independence and self sufficiency and provides with high quality well-beings, like good public services of healthcare, education, pensions, and children upbringing costs are low, etc. besides, nordics are also innovative and high achieving people.

Not sure why the rating is so high...I didn't find it impressive. I feel a lot of thing it just scratched the surface and put a general term. Yes, there are facts, but more importantly, the problem is why the country is what it is now and what is the emotional and thinking processes behind it.
