Thaddeus Russell
出生並成長於加州柏克萊，在哥倫比亞大學獲得歷史博士學位，目前在西方學院教授歷史與美國研究，曾任教於哥倫比亞大學、巴納德學院、社會研究新學院。他曾出版過《走出叢林：吉米・霍法與美國工人階級的再造》（Out of the Jungle: Jimmy Hoffa and the Re-Making of the American Working Class），曾為《野獸日報》（The Daily Beast）、《哈芬登郵報》（The Huffington Post）、《紐約雜誌》（New York Magazine）、《洛杉磯時報》（The Los Angeles Times）、《波士頓環球報》（The Boston Globe）、《基督教科學箴言報》（Christian Science Monitor）、《亞特蘭大憲政報》（The Atlanta Journal-Constitution）等媒體撰稿，在《美國季刊》（American Quarterly）、《哥倫比亞二戰後美國歷史研究》（The Columbia History of Post-World War II America）上發表學術論，也上過歷史頻道節目和「史都華每日秀」（The Daily Show with Jon Stewart）。。
