Diane Croft has spent most of her career as a publisher at National Braille Press in Boston. She has been the recipient of numerous awards from the blind community on behalf of her efforts to promote braille literacy and access to technology. She edited the first illustrated biography of the inventor of braille, Louis Braille: A Touch of Genius, which has been translated into seven languages and won the 2006 New England Book Show award.
