作者简介
劉宇昆（Ken Liu）
美國文學界備受讚譽的作家，曾獲得星雲獎（Nebula Award）、雨果獎（Hugo Award）、世界奇幻獎（World Fantasy Award）、側面獎（Sidewise Award）、軌跡獎（Locus Award）及科幻暨奇幻翻譯獎（Science Fiction & Fantasy Award），並入圍西奧多．史鐸金紀念獎（The Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Award）。他的短篇小說〈摺紙動物園〉於2012年獲得雨果獎、星雲獎與世界奇幻獎，是第一部同時獲得這三項大獎的作品。他也翻譯了劉慈欣的《三體》，於2015年獲得雨果獎最佳長篇小說獎，是第一部獲得雨果獎的翻譯小說。
劉宇昆的首部長篇小說《國王的恩典》（The Grace of Kings）是他與他藝術家妻子鄧啟怡（Lisa Tang Liu）一起創造的宇宙，也是絲綢龐克史詩奇幻系列（silkpunk epic fantasy series）首部曲。現與家人住在波士頓附近。

《狩猎愉快（good hunting）》：浪漫，残酷又伤感的东方蒸汽朋克志怪科幻，是今年心里top1的小说，“当一个男人爱上狐妖，那她永远能听见他的呼唤……”刘宇昆，你真的太会写了！
《爱死亡机器人》拍出的故事不及原文本的万分之一，美国人…你们真的不懂东方美学！你们怎么会懂“我熟悉了活塞富有节奏的摩擦和齿轮咬合声，整齐的律动就像京剧开始时的镲和锣”，你们怎么会懂“他与他一生都在猎杀的妖邪是一样的，依赖古老的灵气维持生命”……
蒸汽朋克本身是粗犷和冷硬的，和仙气灵诡的东方风格结合起来不仅不冲突，反而充满了美感。结局也好美，那种点到为止的感觉真是太让人惆怅了。
折纸看一次哭一次，其他的也大致很好，尤其喜欢狩猎
如作者所言，不全是科幻。细腻，觉得三体能得奖可能真的翻译帮了大忙。短篇集较他的长篇《蒲公英王朝》好上太多。
长叹一口气 绝望
最喜欢〈情绪控制器〉，非常适合改编成迷你剧，阅读过程不断感慨他怎么这么会煽情，文字敏感细腻还充满着女性气息，为什么他写的故事没有那种直男科幻造字机器的臭毛病；全部看完后觉得Ken Liu有种一半扎根海外、一半如浮萍般还留恋在中国已经没有的根，这样复杂又非我们这种本土人能完全体会的华裔的中国情结，有时间的话真想看看他的three body problem译本是什么样的
已经是最好结局中的一种，但读起来仍然让人悲哀。
同名短篇直接给看哭了。
最打动我的是不出名的 形变 和 情绪控制器。可能是因为女性视角。悟空那个算不上科幻，但是很感人。虽然讲的是清朝的故事，用在另一个故事上也完全合适啊。所有滋味那个就感觉很尬…
