女性的力量。新闻者的力量。“如果你不曾听见我的声音,今天你会听见。”说出口只是第一步,问题要被看到,然后才能有行动和改变。同时也很不公平,女性分明是受害者,但公开说出痛苦仿佛成了她们的责任,甚至开口之后还有可能面对更多的痛苦。改变一定是一个缓慢而艰难的过程,但一切终究会有意义。我喜欢致谢里最后那句:To our daughters and to yours: May you know respect and dignity always, in the workplace and beyond.
译文称不上流畅,编校上也有前后不一的问题,读起来有些吃力,但进入写作过程后就根本停不下来。这支团队的努力是对Accuracy/Balance&Fairness/Transparency等核心价值的教科书式体现,无疑是新闻专业主义最有力的记录之一,尤其在经历如此艰难的博弈过程之后。报道的发布是一个结果,更是一个掷地有声的开始。即使看起来步伐依旧缓慢,改变也已经在各个缝隙中萌芽,感谢每个人迈出的每一步。

女性
读到第二章的时候,看到了handsome P. 选手的控诉和随之而来的地震。紧接着微博迎来了或许是有史以来最紧急的控制,几个小时之后这个名字在960万平方公里的范围里被抹去了全部痕迹。这之后再读这本书,就多了一层乌托邦色彩,后期的拉锯在我们看来简直称得上科幻小说了。
由纽约时报记者撰写的报道历程,主要包括了温斯坦性侵案和福特控诉案,引人入胜,环环相扣,最后的受害人聚会则象征着女性力量的觉醒和联结,将要撼动整个产生性侵的文化和制度背景。
不知道是不是翻译的问题,读起来总感觉不是很顺畅。但是不妨碍对两位记者,以及那些敢于站出来的受害者的钦佩,是因为这些人才会让我们这个世界变的更好,让更多的性犯罪者得到惩罚,也会推动更对的人站出来去对抗这种不公,不光在女性遭受性侵这个犯愁,对更多其它犯愁也会产生积极的作用。
數次感覺要窒息......繁中版的翻譯有點滯澀,待會去讀原版......
