还挺多马克思主义的措辞的……提供了一些很新鲜的东西，但是在怎么理解诗歌上感觉也就是比较入门的知识……
新批评理论的代表性著作，曾一度痴迷
什么都好……就是太难了。。。。
新批评派认为'A poem must not mean/ But be' 即强调诗歌本身的价值，回归它的文本与结构。两位作者均为该流派代表人物，用文本细读法对几百首诗歌进行解读，提出的问题非常细，多关注image（意象）, metaphor（隐喻）, symbol（象征）。附录处理格律等技术性问题。美国文学系的教科书。要是附参考答案就好了。

写得非常好，新批评代表作，可以看出对诗歌词语、文本、形式的重视，但也没排斥历史和作家的个人经历。
图书馆借的厚本本 概念不多 诗选多
大概了解了一下 讲的又粗又细 但是有点像在讲小说
没时间细看就还回去了
回过头来看很不喜欢这一本。对metre的讲解很含糊，还是靠别的书补足的。非时序的诗歌选编可以有，但没必要做这么一大本，学起来好累。
