书中亦收录了中国园林走出海外第一人、园林大师陈从周1981年的著作《记徐志摩》,并将此文首次翻译成英文,剖析了徐志摩对陈从周的深远影响,以及陈从周为保护徐志摩的文化遗产、为了中国园林走出世界所作出的贡献。

The foreword is written by Xu Zhimo’s grandson Tony S. Xu. The book was published in 2021, on the 100th anniversary of Xu Zhimo’s entrance to Cambridge University.
The book records in detail the design concept, construction process and memorial significance of the first Chinese style garden in Cambridge University, known for its historical British landscape. The book contains more than 25 drawings and photos related to the garden.
The author traveled to Cambridge many times during the construction of the garden, exploring Cambridge’s nature and its influence on Xu Zhimo and his poetry.
The book also includes Chen Congzhou’s essay “Remembering Xu Zhimo”, written in 1981. Chen was a Chinese Landscape master who brought Chinese Garden (Astor Court) outside China for the first time. The essay is translated into English for the first time. The author analyzes Xu Zhimo’s profound influence on Chen Congzhou and Chen’s contribution in protecting Xu Zhimo’s cultural heritage.
