不喜欢这版翻译。
叶芝的诗，爱极了。读来依旧如此熟悉，给人以美好。关于翻译，有些许不尽人意，但也属常事。
"I celebrate the silent kiss that ends short life or long."
I thought, I would be the last shadow in your eyes...
还是更喜欢聂鲁达的。
身体的衰老意味着智慧，年轻时，我们曾相爱却浑然不知。
叶芝这首when you are old很有名，翻看了几个译本，最钟意李立玮这版。这段翻译甚至超越原文。
“多少人爱过你青春的片影，
爱过你的美貌，以虚伪或是真情，
唯独一人爱你那朝圣者的心，
爱你哀戚的脸上岁月的留痕。”
被一个叫茉德冈的女人拒绝后，转而追求她的继女，这是多么执着的爱情，难怪写出这么多情诗。
把李立玮的叶芝译文推给了友，又赏了一遍，对着查良铮老师和傅浩译的《1916年复活节》，这首诗是我在整个集子里非常喜欢的。还有好诗，《他赠给恋人一些诗句》《蜉蝣》《野兔的锁骨》。
我感觉叶芝是牺牲了语言的震撼力来换取柔和、敏感、想象力的诗人啊。莎士比亚或歌德那样的震撼当然是好的，但写恋心写日常写想象又需要什么震撼力呢？只要能如实地细致地写出这些东西，就已经是漫溢的流光与美了。他是完美的诗人啊，正如黄灿然老师所说。
喜欢叶芝年轻时简单美好，年老后褪去浮华依然深情。
反而讓人覺得「詩不可譯」。
