书籍介绍
《Atkins物理化学》(第7版影印版)由Peter Atkins等教授编著的Physical Chemistry是国外优秀的物理化学教材之一，被国内一些高等学校用作物理化学课程的教学参考书。随着近年来“双语”教学工作的开展，部分高等学校相继在物理化学课程的“双语”教学中使用了该教材，深受读者欢迎。该教材自初版以来，作者不断地对其进行补充和修订，平均每四年再版一次，《Atkins物理化学》是第七版(2002年出版)。全书分为平衡篇、结构篇和速率篇共二十九章。每一章前均有本章内容框架提示；每一章后均列出了本章的重要概念和公式以及参考阅读资料的目录，并配有本章的练习题和思考题。全书最后附有物理化学常用数据表、习题答案和索引。

國外教材一貫的厚重……權當參考書
这是2002年出的第7版，有习题时1997年的论文变过来的。在与时俱进的方面，国内的书籍做得不够。不过这本书内容多，有点杂，不是一本很适合初学者的教科书，但是可作为参考。（可能适合教师进行再组织？这本书在国际上很多大学用做教材，但在Amazon上评价不高）

讲解真的非常细致，容易理解基本原理。
不过初学者（尤其是阅读英文不太快的）需要花比较多的时间去读，才能真正掌握。
与国内教材的内容安排与习题要求……差别较大
内容我现在可能已经忘了一大半, 但它当年给我帮了大忙, 上课没听懂就去图书馆翻这本.
