Whoso would be a man, must be a nonconformist. To be great is to be misunderstood. The voyage of the best ship is a zigzag line of a hundred tacks. See the line from a sufficient distance, and it straightens itself to the average tendency. Your genuine action will explain itself and will explain your other genuine actions.
originality才会造就天才
应该是第一次看爱默生的东西吧？很有思想、见地，内容比文章题目给人的感觉丰富深刻多了。抛去少部分难以理解的语段和个别观点有待探讨，整体挺棒的。不过......真的挺无聊，要不是英语作业我也不会一气儿看完（或许都看不下去）。这是第一遍，还有些混沌，下下周presentation的主题是这个，还得深入看看。

看了这本书之后才第一次清楚地意识到自己的意识流派算属于是transcendentalism，书中说出了一些我感同身受但是并没有能力用语言表达的主观感受，受益颇多。
