Andrew Gillies is is a freelance conference interpreter working at the European Institutions and member of AIIC. He is also an experienced interpreter trainer, working regularly in collaboration with the Jagiellonian University and the European Parliament on an annual series of workshops for conference interpreters in Cracow. His publications include Conference Interpreting - A students' companion, recently re-edited as Conference Interpreting - A students' new companion; and the translation into English of Jean-Francois Rozan's classic Note-taking in Consecutive Interpreting.
