不要忽视书中营造的氛围，以及不同角色反复谈及的相同问题/事件。但相较The Crucifix Killer，在叙事上稍显逊色。
这本比第一本好看，而且杀人动机也很合理。但是有两个问题我很纳闷，具体看论坛，以免被剧透。
Robert Hunter #02 每次的案发现场太血腥了，枉我看过那么多罪案剧，还是被作者笔下的血腥死法给震撼到🤕️
（终于在我考完试这天看完了）作者是不是更擅长写女性victim受害的场景啊？看的这两本都是女性遇害场景让人不适……被害的这几个人的联系一被找出，作案动机就呼之欲出了。他们几个都曾经充满恶意，对其他人造成了不可逆的伤害。他们成年后或许悔恨过，所以有的人又极力成为善良的人，向他人散播善意。但他们曾经的所作所为在他人心里埋下了恶的种子，又一次次浇灌，结出的恶果几乎吞噬了他们所有人。Mollie这个角色让人好奇以后还会不会出现？
每次都被这个凶手的杀人手段所折服，这种死法也太吓人，特别是全身插满针，凶手也压根没猜到，但是Molly出现的意义是什么，不需要另外一个Slater啊，不喜欢超自然现象啊
相当不错的悬疑小说，特别是节奏。
我最近在同时看两本悬疑小说，一本是这个，另外一本是Stephen King的“The Institute”，分别是400多页和600页。Stephen King的那本也不是不好看，但真的就是节奏比较慢，我拖拖拉拉看到200多页，就开始看这本。这本一开始看就非常抓人，先给读者甩了几个非常血腥暴力的凶案现场，然后直接开始调查，完全没什么废话，感觉就是在看美剧的罪案剧，非常爽，一页一页勾着你看下去。非常适合冬夜深夜阅读。
我上当当翻了一下，好像没有这个作者作品的中译本，不知道是不是和血腥暴力描写比较多有关系。这个作者写各种凶案死法真的非常有想象力，我看书都会有身临其境之感。
虽然结尾略有点仓促，但是前面80%都很吸引人。这个系列的下一本书我准备好了！
