短片反复看了十几遍，每每泪目，不能自已。担心人类把我们追寻玫瑰花蕾的意志强加于机器，去读了原文，更被拍坐在椅子上半天说不出话。即便是探寻本身，仍有自发与自觉的不同，记忆的质感永远在变幻，个体的判断与选择也大相径庭。“But without fallibility there is not art, and without art there is no truth.” 在科幻的背景下，Alastair讲了一个无比人本的故事，Zima Blue如同那个金色黄昏，在观众和读者的记忆中活着。
读了原版才发现翻译版把一些很精妙的描述表述得有点干，
其实是昨天读的。本身不是很喜欢科幻作品，但是作者通过科幻对人类as a whole哲学（甚至神学）问题的探索实在让我震撼。
语言优美，故事性强，还有哲学探索和宗教般的美感。很好读，比ted chiang的文字要好读的多，alastair reynolds的思考也更深刻。
