故事引人入胜。开篇让人想起电影 本能。
对话有设计，但几乎没什么情节。证人、杀手、凶手几乎都是送到侦探面前的。虽然不是纯推理作但剧情也实在太弱了，希望是因为这仅仅是序曲的缘故。优点全在画面和氛围营造上。在大部分时候画面的灰度都很高，只有回忆侦探与死者共度春宵的几页是明亮的。很喜欢侦探站在墓地前和最后没入大街人群中两个画面，空间感极佳，视角也好，身临其境。
一只像猫的硬汉？
黑猫侦探墨萨德，第一季·暗影之间。剧情皆在预料之中，但绘画与上色的风格着实美好。
故事是典型硬汉派，推理性不强，重在展示人物性格、社会风貌，读者很容易爱上其氛围和侠骨柔情的主人公。水彩构图、颜色均精致，有些地方甚至台词、背景巧妙结合，美不胜收。
