【Morning and evening routines are the “bookends” of a prosperous life】,最近在Medium上看到一篇文章提到这本书,虽然说是本快消书,但是总体感觉不错,BTW, this book is available on my home page in Douban.
明显作者是sales出身,鸡汤多于干货。大部分概念都老生常谈了,同类图书更推荐原子习惯。一个比较认同的观点是it is the extra efforts that become the real difference-maker.
有幸七八年前看过中文版,那时候还是小白。变成现在的样子,都是compound effect 的效果。。。今后还会一直走下去
看书名一开始还以为是一本学术性的书籍,后来发现是一本personal development范畴的书。看看作者引用的那些人:Jim Rohn(作者的mentor), 安东尼罗宾,博恩崔西,John C. Maxwell你就大概知道这本书的基调了。有点小失望。不过隔一段时间复习复习这些东西也挺有好处的。之所以叫这个名字,就是用来鼓励你每天都只做一小点personal development的trick,日积月累就会有翻天覆地的变化。印象比较深的两个点,一个是Aristotle说的We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit. 虽然早就知道,在记忆里刷新一下大有好处。写不下了…改书评吧

打鸡血的书,但是很实诚。这种书看似热血但偏偏是在内心不浮躁的时候会更起作用。成功没有捷径靠的都是重复,这一本和原子习惯在23年帮我建立起了比较健康且可持续的生活routine,值得推荐。
翻出来这本书提醒自己,要淡定,忍住别手欠..
水滴石穿的主旨很棒,哪怕底数只是比1大了一丢丢,日积月累随着自变量的增加,因变量的增长终会成效显著。不过读这类中学议论文风的鸡汤书好费劲,啰啰嗦嗦凑字数很有我当年吭哧吭哧拼检讨的风范。
道理易懂,例子很多/有些啰嗦,要坚持做到
