One Monkey's Plummet

Like everything, this monkey fell. one monkey's plummet is the fall from my view. Part autobiography, part commentary, this collection of poems is a semi-chronological ten-year episode backward. It begins where I am now, at thirty, and takes the reader all the way back to when I was twenty. It's safer that way. From twenty to thirty the circle meets itself again. From the feelings of silliness and jubilance of first love, to the stomach-drop of the first time alone in the world, to the times of regret and searching and growth, to the opening of adult life: one monkey's plummet has it all.
