Through her writing, Shraya describes her heartbreaking experiences as a trans woman of colour, yet still harbours a sense of hope for gender creativity and reconciliation as the only way to expel fear.

我很喜欢！不是因为里面讲的道理多么深奥，而是我喜欢这种声音，希望听到更多这种声音，最后作为trans的作者说，她也害怕女人，害怕那些将“厌女”自我内化的女性，但最重要的是男人和女人们也害怕她，但他们其实害怕的其实是他们自己，是他们自己的可能性。
