读了一半弃了
应该本来不需要写得这么长的吧，大段的引用是为了啥... 反击Gould的那章真的好无聊。。。我为啥要看俩科学家二十多年前的吵架。。。第一部分其实最有趣，最后一大部分其实就是模因论，比他讲得好的也不少，而且没有触摸到我觉得最重要的问题，有的甚至就只差一层窗户纸了，感觉有些开心（？）

值得一读再读的好书。达尔文的思想推翻了西方传统（认为宇宙是一个不断积累进化的过程），强调自然选择，让人们对生命和生物有了新的认识，不是机械的，不是进化的。第十章梳理了古尔德的反复挑战，却最终反过来加强了达尔文的思想，第十二章讨论了道金斯提出的文化模因。整本书的信息密度和思想密度都太大了，暂时只能略窥皮毛。
补标一下，最能get到的一本丹丹老师（btw，为什么丹丹老师的书都这么毫无必要地长？），比起进化论更像一个自然主义者的宣言。丹丹老师非传统的写作风格经常反而掩盖了他充满创造性的思维的难得。好处：所作出的观点经常很有启发；坏处：不是丹丹老师建议不要学丹丹老师写作（虽然很多非哲学领域的人会说丹丹老师写作好）。可以想象到很多国内读者会通情（或开吵），期待早日出版中译本！
