实质的东西很少。会看这书的都比较frugal了。PAW的那个formula是唯一有点意思的。你的net worth应该是你的年龄/10*你的年薪。
理财书里绕不开的经典。虽然本书从研究方法到结论都被塔勒布批得一无是处，但对于普通人想实现经济独立还是很有参考价值的。前半部分主要是教人避开消费主义的陷阱，同样是高收入人群，一个高净值，一个低净值，区别在于一个把钱用来投资，一个把钱用来消费。结果是一个看起来平平无奇却家财万贯，一个看起来是百万富翁，但一旦失去工作就可能入不敷出，你想成为哪一个？后半部分讲钱的来源和去处，有一个结论可能已经是公里了，那就是打工是很难打成财富自由的，即使那些加入创业公司一夜暴富的少数人也是靠股权实现财富积累，算下来属于投资而非工资致富，要想成为真正的有钱人，还是得有自己的business，至于钱的去处，不打算有后代的本人基本跳过了。

如何成为百万富翁？开源节流听起来老生常谈，但放到成书后25年的今天，需要摆脱消费主义，那就是谈何容易。rat race和high spending，真是手牵手肩并肩捆住了大部分人。
有些课题自己到40岁才算勉强修到及格，希望是better late than never吧。

1. be frugal, live below your means. 2. equation for financial potential: age*annual income/10. 3. Don't fall for economic outpatient care. 啃老的人不但总资产远远少于同侪，连收入也是。
