荣格简谈现代社会中个人, 宗教和社会之间的微妙关系
榮格接受了弗洛伊德的中心前提，即精神分為有意識和無意識。有意識是理性的、科學的、社會的、文化的領域；無意識是非理性、暴力、精神、宗教和神聖的領域。但在現代，出現了一種分裂，導致了一種普遍的神經質現象。主要的問題是，我們試圖完全壓抑無意識，只強調我們本性中有意識的部分；這是一個問題，因為無意識是我們個性的來源。
榮格有意識相關聯的理性、科學、文化，等等。根據定義，這些都是非個人的東西；它們對每個人都是一樣的。因此，現代的人類觀已經完全忽略了個人；我們只試圖從統計學上理解自己，作為整體的一部分。

This 100-page book turned out to be a difficult one to comprehend. Maybe it’s also because it is a translation originally from German that make the English language slightly obscure. Maybe it’s just that my English is not good enough yet. Anyway, it’s a good book that I’d like to revisit from time to time.
确实有很多地方没能看懂，时常出现的拉丁词也很头疼。但是看懂的地方都如获珍宝，印证了过去很长一段时间的思考。
