太好玩了
So fluent.
刚来美国的时候买的一本书，一直没看完。
第一个故事讲他发不出s的音，被抓去做培训，后面即使他还是没法正确发音，但练就了他用各种高深词汇顶替带s单词的能力。第二篇讲他爹有音乐梦，逼他们家所有孩子都去学乐器。养宠物那段挺暖的，有的人有的事物就是无法轻易被取代的。The learning curve让我笑了好几次，这篇真的很有趣！sedaris说我要怎么才能熬过课时还让同学们相信他们在getting educated呢。还有最后有个学生问你有什么资格评判我写的故事，他说因为我是屋子里唯一一个被付了工资来教书的人，学生问那你工资多少，他老实回答了，然后整个班级终于第一次团结在一起了，一起嘲笑他。
读了两个多月终于读完了，有些还是蛮好笑的。但有些我get不到。中间有很大一个篇幅讲他在法国生活的，以及学法语的，那部分蛮好看的。
