A genuinely great book, a seminal pioneering literature in the then whole new domain of socioculture study. In the heyday of behaviorism, Vygotsky's view on the interdependence between thought and language was both refreshing and inspiring. His success in linguistics proves the highly interdisciplinary quintessence of this subject.
