The Master's Tools Will Never Dismantle the Master's House

Audre Lorde 确实读起来非常有感情

I was recommended to read this collection of essays by a secondhand bookshop owner. She said she bought a bag of copies from a local bookshop and gifted them to her friends. Why do we stand up to defend ourselves? Lorde says, 'if I didn't define myself for myself, I would be crunched into other people's fantasies for me and eaten alive.'

“Not to believe that revolution is a one-time event, or something that happens around us rather than inside of us. Not to believe that freedom can belong to any one group of us without the others also being free.” 诗歌，爱欲，愤怒，差异… Lorde在其中看到了能够开启一场运动，make a change 的力量；但这每一个也都可能沦为自我瓦解的契机 奢侈，性欲，仇恨，隔阂… We must be responsible for our own liberation.

很有激情，特别是同名那篇相当犀利。看完之后思考了一下亚女的尴尬地位，俺们吵来吵去好像还是那点事。内部团不团结婚女，团不团结自由人还打来打去，完全没到racism的高度…黑白之间又隐形了🚬
