much too plain and even a little bit boring
great intro, short and self-contained, see ref for literature.
my philosophy's textbook. interesting so
非常简单易懂的介绍了近现代在形而上学上面的进展。不是以灌输的形式，而是展示了不同流派的思想，让读者自行思考选择。入门首选。
无需哲学基础的入门，有点浅，但对入门挺友好的
cam reading list里的一本metaphysics的intro。作为一本面向初学者的intro已经很中肯了，但许多主题没能深入下去，特别是关于上帝、自由意志、人格同一性、共项（universal）和殊项（particular）的讨论都很浅。我最喜欢的metaphysics的intro还是a contemporary introduction（但作为intro它门槛有点高）

Conne的文风一下子不是很能接受，但是读了点就会觉得他谈问题的方向更全，似乎比Sider直接摆结论的做法更深入一些。
不过这本与其说是“入门”，不如真的如标题所说，是个tour guide而已。要入门还是整点论文选集配教科书，或者进一步的小综述型专著会更好。说不定接下来就开van Inwagen那本去了。
本来是想在中文版预计出来前，也就是四月底读完的，结果昨天才全看完，还是太菜。
