读Gibbon的Memoirs时，想起这本书。“The Great Knock”一章读过很多遍。Lewis在其中写到他在Bookham的一天是怎么度过的，令人向往。他说，以后的生活中像这样理想的日子很少。原来大家都有这样的good old days。
