My first book in 2020.
故事立意还不错，但是这种帮派背景是我从来都不怎么喜欢的，可能是因为离自己的生活太远，没有什么共鸣。不过作为一个十几岁的青少年写的书，已经很好了。
Love the plot, love the kid, love the accent she wrote in.

This is one of my favorite reads I’ve read in the past year. It is a story of friendship and of gangs. It is honest and dark and shows the depressing truth of what can go on in rough neighborhoods. The characters feel like real people and they are all suffering in some way. Who would have thought the author of this book wrote it when they were 16?
第一次读的时候还是高中生，再读已经是给正值十五六的学生的阅读课了。比小时候读还要更喜欢每一个人物。比起那些写能在对话间洋洋洒洒写三页心理描写的作者（不是）也更佩服hinton用平实简洁的语言在寥寥短句见就刻画出深刻性格的文笔

简单易懂，好多俚语，立意不错：帮派兄弟的意外带来的痛苦和感悟。
