很幸运在今年遇到了我称为“人生罗盘”的哲学——Stoicism，以前我对其不仅不了解，还有误解。从the School of Life的视频引发了兴趣，找到这本读起来就停不下来，抛去时代所致的局限不论，这本书在人生之道方面是直击核心的，好几次看得流泪。真羡慕Lucilius，能收到Seneca循循善诱的教诲。现在，我也是幸运的Lucillius：）
塞涅卡这写信的风格着实有点可怕，简直把克己这一哲学道理理念发挥到极致，几乎偏偏警句出没，应该不是所有人都能接受的。
满篇都是警句，可能不太符合今人的阅读习惯
好久没念哲学的书了，大学的时候度过Epictetus的stoics书，觉得这个学派的人都是性冷淡，有自虐倾向。过了好几年hedonism的生活之后才发现，啊，原来stoicism才是通往幸福感的源泉。
前后读了三个月，因为采用的方式是每天早上起床读一篇，有点像教徒早上读圣经的感觉lol非常喜欢！好像有塞内加这样的笔友🥲打算常拿来读！
对知足和缓解焦虑有好处。这本书是读塔勒布时知道的。当时想找没找到，后来找到了好多个版本。这个版本是节选的，也就是先试读一下。下次要找全本来读。
像一位老朋友穿越世纪为你娓娓道来生活的烦恼无需烦恼。哪怕过了两千年，他鄙视的事情也都还存在，只是换了个模样，stoic仍能给人启发、给人安定。文末看到塞涅卡被执行死刑的细节描述，深深感到他已与这门哲学合为一体。
为人生读读挺好，为研究就- -可能值得挖掘的点包括阅读的作用，修辞和写作风格，对其他作家的评论。信件排序有递进感，从个人生活上升到哲学，不知是否Seneca本人所为。
