Powerful and nothing short of disturbing. The amount of effort placed into descriptions of scenic beauty makes everything all the more unsettling.

难以相信康拉德是一个非母语写作者，这个语言密度和强度简直像一座密不透风的墙，可惜的是我先看了《现代启示录》，对于Kurt的呈现报了很大期望，但是小说和电影的结构其实是不同的。不过无论如何，黑暗之心仍旧是英语文学中最好的小说之一，给我很大的启发
